

Giving you food for thought...
I retired in April 2005 and have never ever regretted my decision to leave full-
The only thing is that having supposedly retired I seem to be busier than ever. The really great news about retirement, however, is that you get to do things pretty much when YOU choose and there is also that wonderful luxury of being able to say ‘no’ if demands upon your time become excessive!

I have indulged in lots of travelling and exploring new places -
With that, playing Bridge twice a week, visiting with friends, doing the crosswords, reading extensively, hosting charity Quiz Nights, as well as hosting an informal computer group I can honestly say that I have never once been bored.
Since retiring, my quality of life has improved immeasurably. I have renewed and expanded my circle of friendships; this has been the most significant factor in that improvement.
Walking is my main form of physical recreation. I especially enjoy walking along
Britain’s coastline and belong to several local walking groups. D-
I really enjoy helping people: quite a few ask for my assistance in solving computer problems. I have also been able to help charitable organisations to set up and manage their web presence.
With that, and visiting with friends, as well as hosting an informal computer group I can honestly that have never once been bored.
I have had fantastic help and support for improving both my health and fitness via Jill Milne (Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Consultant). I cannot praise her services highly enough. Absolutely brilliant!
I enjoy the luxury of having time to read more widely than I ever could before. I
also get to enjoy the cinema and the theatre a lot more too. I spend one or two days
each month in London, visiting exhibitions, historical sites, museums and art galleries,
usually with some of my ever-
